Just got this early DJ buckle sorry about the pic. IT is small with a DRGM stamp. Any more info much appreciated

Hi Paul! Great buckle man! I love these small examples. I don't think it was ever considered to be a DJ buckle though. These are usually categorized at either NSDAP Jugend or NSDAP sympathizer buckles. I believe they are the latter.

Nonetheless - these are period buckles and they deserve a place in any buckle collection. If you don't mind - I will share my example that still has some of the black paint on the front. It is also DRGM marked (kind of like a "patent pending" mark).

Some wierd stuff went on back then before the RJF got standardisation sorted didn't it. Here's a very young boy wearing the sympathiser buckle you guys have and a girl wearing a buckle which, if an example were to be shown here on the forum, would be thought of as a DJ buckle :)

I am pretty sure that the BDM designation is for the single claw BDM buckle which is under where it says BDM..
