I've just recently bought a HJ buckle, M4/44 mm (Paul Cramer, Lüdenscheid). I've been told it is a steel buckle layered with a copper coating and plated with nickelsilver.
Have you got any idea when this buckle could have been made? Thanks a lot. All opinions welcome.
And happy new year to all!

I'm thinking it's mid to late war manufacture. More opinions needed though. In any case - it's a great looking buckle. Congrats!
