Hey gang! Thought I'd show my newest HJ....which was actually a DJ at one time! :001_tt1:
Nice early Overhoff markings set this guy off too! Quite happy to have added this one to the collection.
Acquired from Chad.....you know you can't go wrong with him! Straight shooter for sure! :001_tongue:

My first conversion so there's reason to celebrate! hahahaha
Here are some pics!
CHeers!

Very nice! Never seen one of those. Congratulations. JME

Thanks guys....These conversions were only done over a six month period....so there are not a whole lot of them out there!
Glad you like it....very unique buckle imo!
Cheers!

nice buckle :)
the DJ buckle was phased out in 1937 and the RZM granted 3 manufacturers contracts to convert DJ buckles into HJ buckles. This was done in an effort to allow the kids (parents) to save money.. the three manufacturers are Overhoff, Assmann and Dicke.
The program only ran for 6 months so these buckles are very seldom seen..

thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for that info Chad...here's a question for you though - the buckle box is Overhoff.....given the "look" of the eagle on the roundel....do you have any idea which of the three makers would have converted this buckle?

Many thanks again!

Rob
