This poor one`s lost all of it`s finish :crying: .
Sorry about the quality of the photo below but my camera is on the blink.
It`s very similar to the chrome one above, but slightly smaller.
I`ll upload a better picture as soon as i can take it.

thank you for the kind comments about the site, and
thank you for sharing your buckles
you have some great examples!
I had the opportunity about 3 years ago to purchase a whole collection of these, about 15 total, and I passed :mad2:
I am still kicking myself to this day for not buying them!
these buckles are great and there are alot of different designs!!
Chad

You had a chance to get 15 in one go & you passed?
I`m sure you had your reasons at the time & i bet most people on this forum have passed on something they wish they had`nt (i know i have).
I think my favorites are the Celluloid ones,How many different (even slight) variations of them have you seen?.

Wherwolf
In regards to the celluloids.. I think I recall seeing 3-4 variations
the variations are the plating (gold or silver)
and the stamped design on the buckle frame (plain or with stamped design)
I purchased Marc Verstreats whole youth buckle collection in 2008 (over 200 buckles) and it cost me an arm and 3 legs... it was right after this that I was offered the sympathizer buckles and I just couldnt think of spending any more money at the time... I should have done it anyway!!:frusty:

Quote Chad!

Also to me are golden and silver specimens with different sizes and with and without finishing in the frame.
And even the back of the Golden presents an approach different from other buckles.
Unfortunately I don't have the 2 types of small specimens, the gold one with decorated frame and the silver one with smooth frame.

Is there also the version with smooth Golden frame?

It's been a long time since there's no integrations in this topic.
I add some new arrivals.

The first is a two-piece model. Complete with belt and strap guide, really not common ...

The second is a mini DJ in one piece printed with belt.

I saw a dealer selling the plain frame celluloid as a boys buckle and the one with pattern in the corners as a girls buckle. Can anyone confirm this ? There should be some of these buckles in sales catalogues from the 20/30's. I also read that these sympathizer buckles became illigal in the 30's ? Can anyone confirm this ?
