Hi everyone,

While reading a biografie of Ernst Hanfstaengl I found the following anekdote I want to share: When the Polish campagne broke out, Ernst was already escaped to England and his son Egon was on a passenger ship on the Atlantic ocean escaping direction Canada. Egon realized that he had his HJ uniform in his luggage and was afraid that he Canadian Costumers would make a problem about this when he would arrive at the port now that England was in war with Germany. At night he decided to keep the pants but throwing his brown skirt with armband into the sea. He was member of Bann 325 Gefolgschaft 13.

Regards, Wim :001_smile:
