Very nice these early magazines Holzwurm.
The one with the flags I used in my handbook (page 183). I also included some of the information from the
advertisement.

The guy with the rare HJ shoulder-strap is very interesting. From what date is the magazine where this is included?
I have a few lousy photo-copies from HJ insignia where these shoulder-straps are included (text is impossible to read).
With a date it would help me.

Hj complete Fahne with bayonete topper .... 39.75 to 43.75 ... Nowadays a complete rig would be aprox two to three thousand dollars .

Hello Wilhelm,
the guy with the rare shoulder straps is Kurt Gruber.
The newspaper is the "Sturmjugend" from September 1931.

As far as I know the shoulder-strap 1/1 is for a year later (1932 through early 1933,
replaced by the form with the Bann-number), not 1931.
At the moment for the HJ indication (as shown with the photographs) just a large number
was used (according to the bad copy I have and for those that were allowed to wear a
number at all).

Der junge Nationalsozialist August 1932

Upps, wrong Newspaper, here is a picture of the right one, on which is "listed" my brown shoulder board.

As I mentioned before the copies I had were extremely lousy. It is impossible to read
what is said with none of the items, but I would not want to withhold this material for the
forum-members. I never was able to locate better copies. I do not even know in which
archive it was found. Maybe the advertisement is a helping hand. Anyway the HJ
abbreviation upon the shoulder-straps is clearly visible.
