FAD (Freiwilliger Arbeitsdienst) youth patch

the FAD was the early precursor of the RAD and they had a youth
section with a designating insignia as shown. As this movement was very early in the NSDAP history there is certainly a connection to the HJ and BDM

Hello,

Nothing to do with HJ or BDM !
It is the insignia of the "Freiwilliger Frauenarbeitsdienst" (Volunteer Women's Labor Service) established in 1933, a part of the "NS Frauenschaft" (NS Women's Organisation) and integrated in the RAD in 1936.

As you know, the boys and the girls had to serve 6 monthes in the RAD... at 18, and that means after the HJ (BDM).

I still think there has to be a connection as even though RAD service was compulsory it was not for youth and the HJ and BDM
did take control of all youth movements
