This form of armband (Armbinde für Ärzte und Feldscher) are noted about in the
Reichsbefehl from September 5, 1941. Simultaneously the flags, a look like as the
armbands were introduced.
Arzt is the one with the red edges; Feldscher is just the symbol (the Heilrune).
Both were available through the Reichszeugmeisterei. All other forms were not allowed
to be used (wrong Heilrune and with indications).

Has anyone seen an original example of this armband with separately applied life rune and stripes, not woven as these examples are? I've seen one for sale, however not having another example to compare it with like these was not sure about it.

Photos of "multi Piece" Artz armband. Not the best lighting for the photos and the details aren't great but not my photos.

Very nice additions Lauri. The example of the multi piece that I posted has been for sale for some time now, still would like to know if anyone has encountered the multi piece version of this armband or just the woven version. The price is decent but I am just not 100% sure on it.

I had one in hands that was not standard. It was multipiece with the rune part on a patched what was red pipped on the edges. Didn't think anything of it until now....

There is a nice pic of a HJ doctor from my collection

Photos with the 'Artz' insignia are not common. Thank you for that one.

Thanks for the link! So it is very possible to find one with an RZM tag then. Wonder how many do have RZM tags still. I have been keeping my eyes on the one on Hermann's and I am hoping to bid. It has a tag inside which is why I asked.....
