Here's another for the list:

- HJ Leistungsabzeichen in Silver #18585 , awarded on 29-07-1937

(Of course the bronze badge doesn't belong to the booklet)

I have some other paperwork to the same owner (DJ memberpas + Leistungsbuch RJA), if anyone likes to see them i can upload them of course.

best regards,
Gaston

Excellent Gaston. I'll add him to the list now. Can you let me know his name and where he lived please? I can't read that handwriting unfortunately.

Hi,

Sorry, forgot that information:

Name: Heinrich Landenberg
Living place: Asel
Born: 11-08-1919 in Hannover

best regards,
Gaston

Hi Garry,

What do you think about this one? Somehow the number is a bit low, right?

By the way, I was in my Honey Moon in Scotland... love every minute I was there.:scot

Regards

Antonio

PS: Btw, I used the Hide option... is it in Ordnung?

Hi Antonio,

That's right. The serial number on the card corresponds to the serial numbers that were being used at the end of 1941 - not at the end of 1942 so yes, the card is very suspicious :thumb:

Hi Garry,

Could this one make it to the list?

Best Regards

Thanks Antonio :thumb: I can't add that one to the list unfortunately but the date and serial number are still very useful because they allow us to see whether this badge fits into the same time frame as other badges in this range. As you can see from the list it does so it's another piece for the jigsaw even if we can't fully attribute it to a specific person.

HJ silver 186812 and HJ black 8411 added. There seems to be a pattern developing where badges awarded to boys after qualifying for their K-Schein at a Wehrertüchtigungslager seem to have serial numbers that are out of sync with the usual order. HJ silver 186812 seems to be an example of this but more examples will be needed.
