Hey guys.
I read that there are a lot of doubts on those cufftitles, real or not real..
I recently purchased a schießwart and sportwart.
After that I read the discussion and some say there are very good reproductions, some say that they are unused stock.
I read about the "draketooth" stitching at the back should be a dead giveaway for a fake..
But in this thread I see some that are supposed to be genuine, but those have the draketooth at the back.
So I am confused what "the truth" is.
Well.. the one thing I can do is compare, and I have 2 1000% genuine ones, from a Nachlass from a family I know.
The gelandesport wart is partly glued to a hj pennant, but I am able to look at the back.
The rare schiwart is pinned at the pennant, so I could remove it and make photo's..
The material of the 4 look the same..
The only difference between the 2 that I know are real, and the recently purchased sport and schießwart:
-at the front you can see very small stitches in red and green underneath the lines. (At the location where the draketooth at the back is positioned)
-at the back there a draketooth and with the gelandesport and schiwart it looks like a straight line.
Because those 2 are dusty and the gelandesportward is worn, the black background looks different, but I think when they were new, I looked the same..
Perhaps this information in useful, but I am not convinced the green and red one are wrong, neither they are right.
