Great job Cemifor ... Does anyone have a photo of Schirachs Grave ?

Both his autobiography and Henriette von Schirach's memoirs are well worth reading in my opinion. There is also a book called 'Ein Jugendführer in Deutschland' (1993) which was written by his friend and colleague in the RJF Günter Kaufmann in response to an academic paper written by Dr. Micheal Wortmann in 1980 which Kaufmann saw as a misrepresentation of history.

There is a translation HERE which talks a little about B Schirach's time in prison and his later life in the care-home. Tony Fermor's contributions in that thread are well worth a read.

"1907

But I understood he was born at Weimar, Thüringen.

Hi,

Berlin is correct. The Schirach family moved to Weimar one year after Baldur von Schirach's birth.

Very much so Dorn. At the time, the book seems not to have been well-received but as you say, it gives valuable insights.
