Hello,

A quick question about a badge offered for sale on the Hiscoll site, with a comparison with two other badges.

In the following presentation, badge number 1 is the one offered for sale by Weitze, which was previously in the Polizzi collection (see previous forum post). Badge number 2 was sold as a copy in September by Berliner Auktionshaus. Badge number 3 is the one offered for sale by Hiscoll and I believe it is also a copy for which I would like the opinion of forum members.

These badges were all made by hand and all look different. Therefore, it is always difficult to tell from a picture whether it is an original or a copy.
But it is true that the badge in the middle with the protruding claws is a copy and that these badges were not made like this.
I always like to have something like this in my hand so that I can form a more accurate opinion and that is why I will not write anything about the piece at Hiscoll.

In my opinion number one is an original . 2 and 3 is a fake
