Erly 1930'ish. Was consumed by HJ on 23. July 1933.

This grouping sold on Ebay DE some time ago. Christian knows what organization it represents. Hopefully he will see this thread and comment.
 
YMCA, CVJM Westbund

Well, I bought this lot on ebay in 2013 as a "Buy it Now" item for 55 Euro.
A fine deal one would asume. (I think the seller's name was Markus ElFLER)
The seller stated that the items were not around any more and canceled the sale.
I was sad, but things like that happen every now and then.

But I got mad, when the lot turned up again after several months at the price of 160 Euro.
I complaind about it to the seller. He did not answer. He just blocked me on his sales since then.
So I can no longer bid on his items on ebay with my own account.
(No big deal, if I need something there, a friend does it.)
These items have been around on his Ebay store since then, for the last several years.

It is just about the side cap. Old photos from the Westbund sell for 2 to 5 Euro, badges sell around 5 to 10 Euro.
There are no collectors for protestant youth organisations known to me. The badge is still in use today.
The Westbund included all the western groups of the YMCA (CVJM) in Germany.
Till March 18th 1934 all German protestant groups had to join the HJ.
I added another picture from my files from the inside of the side cap.

Yes got it from him on ebay.de. Think 149 € is a good price for allone the rarety
is it so that the Brown cap was jused in HJ units before regulations with HJ uniform as the picture show.

Eifler has been problematic in the past for me too but most of his things are okay if you know what to look for and if you can put up with his s**t when you have a question... Is he a well known dealer? I mean, is "Markus Eifler" a pseudonym?
