Does anyone know of period documentation describing or ordering the replacement of the NPEA school triangles with the SS type sleeve eagle? Apologies if this information is here on the forum and I missed it. Any information would be greatly appreciated .....

I do not have any written documentation , however ; from period photographs I can assume it had to be around 1942-43 .

I don't have an exact date unfortunately but based on the regulations that I have, I would say that any change happened in late-1943 going into 1944. I say that because this change is not mentioned in the clothing regulations before that time.

Does anyone have a period photo of this correct eagle in wear.
Thanks gov

Here are a couple of photos. The second appears in The Handbook by Saris as well as Baker III. Wm might comment further as there is some thought this youth might be attending Dutch Reichsschule housed at either NPEA Bensberg or Naumburg.
