I have a postcard sent from a Fähnleinführer in Straubing in 1934. I am a little confused about the Bann number, which I assume is 46. According to information about Bann numbers, Bann 46 was located in Schwerin and not in Straubing. Does anyone have an explanation?

Yes, you will see a B in front of the number, which indicates the Bavarian Banne. B 1/46 was Straubing (B 2/46 Landau). On 1 January 1936, the B was abolished, and Straubing got the 346.
Therefore, everything fits.

I would add that B1/46 and B2/46 are the Jungbanne i.e. Deutsches Jungvolk. They were located in Straubing and Landau as Jack says.
