hi all, were there any HJ members with skin conditions? such as acne/zits or white patches? were they put into special groups away from the public?

thanks in advance

Not a handicap. It neither makes you unfit for service nor is it contagious.
After all, we are not talking about leprosy here, but about something that is at best opticaland temporary.
So, there was no Bann A for acne-ridden boys ;). And also no special Gefolgschaft or anything.

My grandmothers younger sister Helene was not a beauty at all.
A simple country girl, no make up, unprepared, a simple photo.
"Posing" was probably back then not very common.
I would be interested to know what great aunt Helene thought about this photo in later years, I couldn't ask her anymore, I was too late...

A german girl in uniform, my so-called user-picture.

P.S. Helene was the sweetest person ever, she loved me, and I loved her...:)
Her older sister, my grandmother never wore a uniform at all.

The photo of her younger sister was found decades later in my grandmother's estate.
My grandma kept this picture, for whatever reason, the photo of her younger sister speaks volumes to me...

thanks for the replies, im guessing they weren't allowed to be in propaganda photos or anything like that. are there any photos of such cases or documents of members with skin conditions or anything?
