Not the sort of item you come across every day, its used to carry a large HJ bann flag and its poles, called a ''Fahnenhulle'', folds out to place the flag in for protection and then folds up to hang from the belt. made of a rbber /wax type material......

heres a early political belt and cross strap set, these were used by hj members, horse riders???? and other political units, ive seen photos of the boys wearing these sets and will try and post one soon, this one is assmann marked on the hard wear and the belt and straps are marked ''croupon''...
