Just for info in case anyone has one and wondered what it was introduced for.
Authorised in 1938 the badge is described in the reference as follows:
Goldene Plakette der HJ, Gebiet Hochland. Die neugeschaffene Plakette erhalten alle, die die HJ vor 10 Jahren mit aufgebaut haben.
Golden badge of the HJ, Gebiet Hochland. The new badge will be presented to all of those who helped to build the HJ 10 years ago.
Source: Uniformen-Markt 15/1.8.1938 p226
Here are some examples of the badge. What strikes you though is the complete absence of any of the golden finish. Has anyone seen one of these with the gold finish? Also, does this only come in a hollow-back version?
