oberbann

Hello folks, whats the thoughts on this rune here? i like it but i have been wrong before! i am just interested in the learning! would this have been an early rune before the oberbann system was overhauled? what date would it roughly date to? thanks for any opinions on this! :thumb:

Just got this one in from my friend Andy in the Los Angeles area. He collects S.A. items but occasionally gets a neat H.J. item here and there. I think he picked this one up at the Pamona CA. show the first day (I missed the first day of the show) and sold it to me for a good price. Looks like...

A couple nice sets listed this week. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that pulled the trigger on these sets when they were listed. It's annoying that he does not remove or reserve items when you check out ala Detlev Nieman. Can't count how many times guys had gotten the "sorry, sold"...

Not mine, I wish they were. A great looking strip of uncut Oberbann 5 Sigrunes that sold at an auction in 2010 for the paltry price of $80 USD! :hHow did I miss this.:mad2:

A nice new set in from Bann 256 Northeim-Einbeck, Nord/Niedersachsen, Oberbann 2, Unterbann I. I have a lot of post 1938 pattern straps, so I'm working on adding earlier sets now.

A nice Ebay win this morning. Bann 183 Herford, West Westfalen. Oberbann 6 with white numerals and piping. White numbered and piped Oberbann 6 straps are not often seen. A hard to find strap at a great price. :clap2:
