In September 1944 it was announced that a new cap had been introduced for the Marine-HJ. It was in the style of the HJ summer cap but was in blue cloth with a yellow cord. Has anyone seen one of these?

Sorry for my previous blunder. Again, I am not an expert concerning BDM leader patches and need some opinions on this one to avoid making a mistake. The pictures are photos of pictures so they look a little grainier than the originals.

I came across this sidecap. Seller says it is "pre 1935" - whatever this means.
I have not seen a sidecap with that coarse fabric before.
