Garry,
How many months ago did I say I'd do this?
I read a bit tonight on the thoughts that the site was "stalling". So I thought I might as well stay up late and finally post these.
The following flags/pennants/banners were part of my hj collection that I sold in 1993. I also had quite a few other items as well. I'll post those elsewhere on the site.
Many of these items are in Angolia's book and the car pennant is in both Angolia's and LittleJohn's book.
I have located photos for all of them except three pennants (two JM & one BDM). One of the missing ones was a BDM Landjahr pennant with an RZM tag.
Luckily I still have the VHS now transfered to DVD that I made of it at it's peak just before I sold it. This is how I remembered that I was missing the three. In anyone is interested in purchasing a dvd of it all, I may be able to make that happen. The quality is not PIXAR or MGM, but I can't imagine there were many dvds made like this that even exist.
Keep in mind that this was before the internet & digital photography. Some of the quality is poor, so I'll make up for it with quantity.
I'll start off with a couple shots of the collection room, then roll in to the subject matter.
This was a collection built before the internet existed. Built the old fashioned way - Leg work.
ok, here we go.
