so far I have received the Tieste Books (well only Band 1, Band 2 comes when my gf meets me next week) and just making a data base of the HJ Tinnies. amazing.

Personally, I am not 100 percent convinced this tinnie is authentic. The tinnie displays some of the characteristics of the fake tinnies coming out of Eastern Europe. The color appears off, lack of crisp details, and shallower stamping of the text.
Yesthis ones feels like eastern europa if its not the last one they did in the tool. i have 3 differnt orginal tools the are all lacking the crisp in details regards tomas
Railhouse...thanks for weighing in on this. I purchased it through Manions about eight years ago, long before I started seeing the large numbers of fake tinnies coming out of Eastern Europe. I would bet there are easily a dozen different tinnies that can easily be identified as reproductions. One could probably find five or six at the web auction site gun broker.
