I have this HJ visor and it has red piping & from what I could find doing a search is that red is for drivers motor HJ? Am I correct? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Mike,
No, it is not correct, the pink Piping is for Motor HJ.
your HJ cap is early and it a good one. It matches to general HJ ( Red ) and it very classic.

Maybe this is a subject of discussion, but when the visor is leather,
it was allowed to be used by drivers for official cars (Fahrer von
Dienstwagen).
Motor-HJ is anyway pink! But what about these drivers for official
