torch

Thought you might find this interesting. A torch from one of those torchlight parades back in the day. Dont know if this was specific to HJ (I doubt it), but there are photos showing them being carried. e.g. Source Close ups of the writing around the base of the torch.

We recently acquired this dagger. Can someone explain the red stripe and torch on the scabbard? Is this original or added by the original recipient? Any info you can provide us would be appreciated. Thank you.
