Many Thanks to the group members for providing valuable expertise for my quest to determine what items in my HJ collection are legit and which aren’t. There was a moment when I felt I had, at least monetarily, screwed myself by buying before researching. Oh well, we learn something new every day and thankfully, the higher end and majority items have proved to be ok. Whew!

With that said, here is a small group that I’m still looking for clarity on and what was the string thing used for? These pins are not back-marked.

All comments are appreciated,
Regards

hi
for my part I would only comment on the tinnie on the right (Gauparteitag) which is ok. I'll let other members give their opinions

Thank you. And, after the input from the members to date, here is the HJ grouping of legit items. In all, 11 items were considered fake or non-authentic. I still have one more buckle to confirm but it is what it is.
Many thanks to all!

Thanks for sharing your experience — I think many of us have been in the same spot, buying first and researching later! Glad to hear most of your higher-end pieces checked out okay. As for the pins, they look interesting. The string might’ve been used for display purposes or possibly to keep the pieces grouped originally, maybe even tied to a cup coaster or tag for identification. I’m curious what others think, too. Hopefully, someone here can confirm more details.
