Corduroy HJ sports shirt opinions please?

What is everyones opinion on this sports shirt? I think i like it !

Hmm, isn't that usually an armband sewn onto the shirt?
In any case, it's not corduroy (you wouldn't want to wear that, it would be much too warm), but cotton, Doppelripp/double rib. I looked it up and it's supposed to have been around since 1923 (Schiesser was probably the inventor, at least in Central Europe). So the material could match.

Thank you for your insight. I have a photo of a hockey player with this sort of material on, so it definitely was available at the time. Just goes down as one of them items that can’t be 100% guaranteed. :)

Great pic, thanks. So those shirts with the HJ band and swas are non-regulation and likely knocked up at home. For hockey the shirts themselves could be any type of civilian sports shirt but all players had to wear the same one for uniformity and with the cloth diamond in the middle of the chest so once again we have a bunch of boys ignoring that :) Looks like they won the game though!

that looks more of a ribbed texture, as jack replied, has the logo been printed on or sewn on?
