I bought this Deutsche Jugend badge, marked RZM 72 GES.GESCH.

What do you guys think of this one, all good?

So it’s not a good one, this one for sure looked good to me (aging etc.).

I cancelled my order and will normally receive my money back.

It seems like you did not read the entire post! The badge is an original transitional Zimmermann. My good friend Jimmy examined a well known reproduction and an original badge years ago…check out the microscopic pics and post #41

Thanks for your answer, although I see one difference. The one in your picture that is said to be original is marked Gesch.Ges beneath the pin. The one of my picture isn’t.

Is that a problem regarding originality?

You are welcome. No. That’s not a problem…just another type of attachment plate without GES. GESCH. marking. The badge in your post is made from another die as well…you can see that the peebling (the pattern under the red tranlucent enamel) is different from the one Jimmy examined.

Hi, one thing I can tell you that has stood well for me many Years, is that ANY of these type badges with a coffin shaped or oval pin plate are Fakes! Instant rip off that these are bad.
