We quickly tend to identify an item as a fake when we notice that the appearance or type of production does not fit to the regular or standard type and form. The fact is, however, that the German youth in Serbia, Hungary and Romania belong to the Banat Swabians didn't have the money for serial production processes. Badges that resembled those in the Reich were often self-made. There are only a few photos to prove they have been worn. So I would like to add another photo to the history of the Banat Swabians.
