Hi there,
I am no expert on HJ knifes but I have never seen anything like this before, it looks more like a bayonet rather than a HJ knife, makers mark in wrong position, HJ diamond in wrong position, wrong type of blade, missing a hanging attachment to the scabbard etc, all in all a bit strange, looks like a fantasy piece to me ? and I would not buy it. However there are plenty more members on this forum with a lot more knowledge on HJ knifes who may answer your question.
Best regards....Ewan

No probs. Yes, I know. The photo does however show this type of knife on a boy's belt. It has the same pommel and the same low diamond as the knife you show.

Good one!
Rare original -first knife of Wingen- according to a friend of mine, who is the author of the book Heeres Dolche.
