It can be interesting to gather in the same place photographs showing flags and pennants with unusual designs, period photographs and those treasures that are in your collection, also those that appear for sale.

1933 DJ flag Eslarn "Manfred von Richthofen"


Lettering "Durch Kampf zum Sieg! 1933 Manfred v. Richthofen".
Machine-embroidered, so-called "Kurbelstickerei".
Unit patch "Eslarn". Size: 125 x 125 cm.
Recently sold for 1,500 euros. Add Buyer's Premium: 22,50 %.

The same guy also posted these monstrosities too though: List of HJ Gefolgschaft, DJ Fähnlein, BDM Mädelgruppe and Jungmädelgruppe flags and pennants known to exist

Some more oddities below:

Pennant (Wimpel) for Jungmädelschaft III/71 and Deutsches Jungvolk "Oranien" flag The DJ Oranien flag in that post is the one I mean but period photo definitely needed otherwise the flag is a fantasy.

DJ Dragon Pennant

Very interesting pennant.
An embroidered dragon stands out on the red cloth back. Dimensions approx. 79 x 33 cm.
A little treasure for the lucky buyer.

Deutsches Jungvolk flag from Bayr Ostmark.
Bought it straight from the daughter of the hj member.

Pretty cool design at the back with the wolfsangel

I found that photo of the DJ flag a long time ago, recovered from the web.
If a photograph appears in a magazine or book of the epoch that shows a different design and someone scans it, it serves perfectly to illustrate the theme of the thread.
