Hello everyone! I’m new here in the forum and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! 🎄

I’m just starting out in this collecting field and have a question about this HJ knive with motto I came across. I’m reaching out to you experts – could anyone tell me if it’s an original? If yes, which production year could it come from, and which manufacturers might be behind it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I can't immediately see any "red lights". My conclusion is that I am ALMOST certain that it is original, but it is judged from the pictures, which could well be better. Let's see if there are others who have an opinion about it.

The production year is probably in the period ca. 1935/36 to 1938, since after 1938 there was no "Blut und Ehre" in the blade and that before ca. 1935/36 there was also - in addition to the RZM code - the manufacturer's name and logo on the blade.

RZM M/7 33 is F. W. Höller, Solingen.

I hope I've helped you a little - but as I said, let's see if anyone here on the forum has an opinion on the originality.
