I saw this photo on ebay a few weeks ago .
Photo shows a bicycle used by a BDM girl with full traveling gear for a long cycling trip . If you look towards the front of the bike , you will see an HJ pennant affixed to it .

Yes, they are solid!
I used to own one in the 80's while I was at University.
I used it till it was stolen.
It never let me down.
I whish I'd still have it.
 
I bet they were heavy also , can you identify this type of bicycle .
 
Interesting photo. First time I've seen a girls' pennant on a bicycle. Any chance of seeing the full shot Joe? Or was that all the seller showed?

The final price was 35.50 Euro. Too much for me that day. :sneaky2:
