HJ Collection Appraisal

So the thread I had started earlier was removed due to not being a donor member which is fully understandable. I am now a full member and would like to get some estimates on my HJ collection before I list these items for sale here on the forum. As I do not primarily collect HJ items, I'm not quite sure where the market is at for the following...

Partly rare pieces but 2 fakes also caught my eye. HJ fire brigade troops and the HJ Gefolgschaftsfahnenträger.
It's hard to set prices. One pays more and the other doesn't want to pay so much. If you want to get the most out of it, put the pieces up for auction. Or you can choose a fixed price and offer it for sale.

For ballpark prices ...check dealers websites and then adjust your asking prices accordingly from there.

Did some research and checked out others prices on same/similar items. I have a good idea as far as pricing goes for most of my items. However, I can’t find any of prices on the AHS shoulder boards anywhere. Other than that I’m just about ready to list everything in the for sale section. Once I can get ball park estimates on those I can get the ball rolling.

Spot on. When I had began collecting HJ indeed it was in the 2009-2011 time frame (also when I had joined this forum). Other areas of collecting had spiked my interest and the interest in collecting HJ had diminished. If I’m going to sell off the collection, I would rather it go to collectors that are dedicated to this specific area of collecting which this is the Hitler Youth Research forum so it only seems fitting. I simply came here to seek out assistance with pricing since the market has most likely fluctuated over the span on 10 years and move these pieces to other fantastic HJ collections. Thanks.

I think that's good and I hope that some collectors get something from you. There are a few beautiful and rare pieces among them.
