Hi Chris

What is the exact reason for your bad feeling of this knife ?

You have it in your hand, I have only the 4 pics to look at.

I do not see any red lights, but would like to se some pics of the scabbard.

I know it is not common to see the RZM-marking on the same side as the inscription "Blut und Ehre", but I think I have seen it before.

No scabbard present.

Reasons for it being a fake (maybe)
The RZM Logo is etched, I was only able to find die struck logos for that maker.
The grip pattern is one that is also encountered on many fakes.
The diamond was exchanged (because repro diamond easy to identify)
The scabbard was removed (because repro scabbard easy to identify)
Maker M7/38 exist well known bad fakes
3 collectors that saw the pictures told me it s a fake, one said it is ok..... so I am still very unsure.

better pictures

Hi again Chris

1) You often se etched logos, so why not on this knife ?
2) There are many different shapes of grips, so ?
3) I did not know that the diamond was exchanged - could be a red light, bu not 100% sure.
4) Could also be a red light - but again not 100% sure.
5) Could also be a red light - but again, again not 100% sure.

Conclusion: I now have a LITTLE doubt about this knife.

As I only have the pics to judge after, I might say - after having seen your comments - I would not at present buy that knife - I never buy anything, that I do have a bad feeling with. It is better to look after another knife WITH scabbard.

Sorry not to be able to help you further.

This is a common fake - save your money.

From memory, there are some pics of these in the fakes thread.

Here's another M7/38 fake with the scabbard.
