I found this photo of a Heer soldier wearing what appears to be the HJ Rifleman Badge on the pocket of his M40 Feldbluse. Was this an isolated incident, or do you have any other photos confirming the wearing of this badge in the Heer? Was wearing it in accordance with Wehrmacht regulations?
