Thanks. Whoever that is may as well not have bothered making that post. It's just vagueness qualified with vagueness. He should have said "I don't know if it's a genuine badge or not". That would have been more useful. I don't see anything wrong with the badge and there certainly doesn't seem to be anything in its appearance that would make a case for it being fake unless it never actually existed during the TR but here is a post showing one of these along with the paper version:
