Unfortunately, I do not know the history. I have the patch from a friend.
But has it been 40 years in his collection.Since there is no official patch, I get out of a private production.
I have no doubts about the originality.

A pre 1945 original, probably even pre 1933. That is for sure.
But not necessarily DJ. Could be something else too.

I agree with Christian's assessment of this insignia. Possibly D.J. but also possibly Pfadfinder.
