Early Jungvolk pennant . I just won this at an auction , nice size 16 x 29 inches . This is the auction description of the item : " Nazi German double sided cotton pennant featuring to one side a single rune or sigrune as used by the HJ and DJ . On the reverse side a chain stitched Indain Chief in overall very good condition . I am wondering if this is actually an American Bund Jungvolk pennant because of the Native American wearing an Indain Chiefs warbonnet . Any help would be appreciated .

Could also be DPB (Deutsche Pfadfinder Bund) from the late 20s or early 30s. The DPB Rune has a long horizontal middle piece.
Most (later) Jungvolk runes normaly have only the two vertical parts. Early Jungvolk runes sometimes still had the middle part.
So it is nothing definite.
Red Indians were quite popular with the German boy scouts back then, see for example some magazine covers from the 1920s and 1930s. But in the end it is just a "maybe". :noidea:

I do like the Wimpel very much. Well spotted!
