I picked this up a few months ago. A believable original flak armband from Latvia. It is not the type with the swastika, but the other design which can be seen in the period photo attached. It fits the regulation in hand that was posted in the last post regarding there, where it says the material is more purple. In hand it is so, rather than what the scans show. The stripe however is not painted, but rather all 1 piece. Emblem is a little beaten up, but is hand drawn ink and then sewn on. the band is no longer sewn together in the back unfortunately. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

Certainly seems legit and a good match for the photo. I've never heard of latvian flakhelfer before. Is there some stuff on the forum I can read?
