Thanks Garry! On closer inspection, it looks like a B or an 8...

Thanks. Could it be a 3? I have a reference showing MHJ-Gefolgschaft 3 Radolfzell in 1942.

Here is an enlargement. Looks like a B..... Radolfzell. Since Radolfzell is located next to Lake Constance (Bodensee in German), this could explain the appearance of B.

Thanks for the enlargement. Yes, looks to be a B. I haven't seen that designation on a tally before but Radolfzell was within Bann 114 Konstanz and near the Bodensee as you say so you could well be right.
