Since it's mainly paper, I'll put it in here.
Everything is from one source: HJ and DJ straps, Leistungsbuch, Dienstbuch and a not too common examination sheet for ideological training (Weltanschauliche Schulung) for the achievement badge.
Also a propaganda card of the Nachrichten-HJ, when laying a line.

For Garry:
new Gefolgschaft Nachrichten 1/188 (Na.1)
Fähnlein 26/188 (Flughafen).
Achievement Badge Silver: 15.03.1944, No. 382,827 (Wolfgang Meins, b. 1928)

Hi Jack,

the so-called "Nachrichten-HJ" for sure.

The "Roll" carried in front of the chest was a typical German "Kabeltrommel", this was normally carried on the back in the Wehrmacht, in various designs...

You will find more photos here:

Google search for "kabeltrommel wehrmacht": kabeltrommel wehrmacht - Google Suche

Sorry for my very short reply... ;)
Unfortunately I don't have the time for a longer answer, sorry.

Micha

Thank you for commenting and liking.
He has the cable drum on his chest because they are taking down the telephone line.
The laying works with the drum on his back, but the rolling up of the cable doesn't ;).

I can talk smart knowing what's written on the back of the card, can't I :biggrin1:?
