Would 29 be the correct number for Bann 529 thr shoulder board? Did the DJ have a area triangle on their jackets? And did they were a shirt under their summer jacket..TIA

There are exceptions with buttons as the numbers could denote other things but a standard member of the HJ/DJ wore strap buttons that denoted the Fähnlein/Gefolgschaft within the Jungbann/Bann. So in your case that would be Fähnlein 29 within Bann 529. I don't know whether there actually was a Fähnlein with that number within that Bann but it is likely. The DJ wore a triangle on the shirt, on the winter blouse and on blouse jackets. DJ higher leaders also wore the triangle on the jacket/tunic. The correct triangle for Bann 529 is Südost/Niederdonau.
