Hello,
what could this be. Definitly not HJ boards, but what is it.
A strange copy of HJ boards or boards from a "Wehrverband".

The collar-patch looks for the Bund der Frontsoldaten,
but the pip should not be there and there should be two oak-leaves.

The BdF did not have shoulder-straps like this. Not would I know another
youth-organization with such straps.

Is it possible one tried to copy high ranked shoulder-straps for the HJ?
I have seen it before. But in such and this occasion they are lousy copies!

The poor guy. Surely he also paid a lot of money for it.

The Dutch guy is aware of the facts now.
He could have looked at this forum and have learned about what and how!
Hope he can return them to the seller!

The form of leaves was shown in for example the "Organisationsbuch der NSDAP"
and some other sources, as for example "Die Uniformen der Braunhemden" by Von
Eelking. Not always they are shown quite clear.

It is quite strange the exact form was not ever shown in the "Mitteilungbslatt der RZM"
and other important souces. To be honest I do not know much sources that do show
them. Here a sample from the "Jahrbuch der HJ" from 1934. How they should look
was only described!

Returning the subject. I knew I had seen them somewhere listed,
but I could not quickly locate them.

Look at the similarity for the oakleaves, as found in a cataloque from
the Knaur-concern, specifically offered for shooting-associations.
There were more forms, but this may give an indication, someone
added oakleaves to deceive.
