Thanks a lot for your nice comment, Marlies. You very well described why scuffed triangles have some special charme. You can "feel" the time these items once were worn.

Thanks Marlies, the patina has the same effect like a lipstick for beautiful lips :thumb:
 
Many, many years ago I was walking through an open-air flea market in Berlin when a young man explained to another how he could tell the difference between real and fake items: "You can tell right away," the man replied, and what he meant was that real items have a patina that sticks to real items after 40, 50 or 80 years. Although it was a simple explanation, I still think it was a very good one.
 
have not seen this before, but the cap does not belong to the shirt.
The shirt is HJ, the cap is DJ.
It was just for a photo. I have the correct cap now
