hello
my friend asked me to identificate this dagger
for me its a strange one due to the pointy blade and no markings.i think it may be caused by a cleaning and sharpening, the blade have many scratches along its length.beside this on the edge are signs of sharpening from ricasso to the tip.near ricasso is visible a little humb that can be the remain of original blade widness.what do you think about this observation?
the grips, rivets and diamond seems to be a genuine for You?the diamond show some movement, and on the grips are visible some cracks,so maybe they once belonged to other dagger ?is it real that a maker stamp can be erased by a some cleaning technic?
i tryied to ID the maker of the knife but this is little hard thing i just found near identical ricasso and crossguard piece on another forum but also unmarked-the photo with red dot
best regards

Hello,
many knives were made after the war, with or without marking. If the knife was denazified, I don't understand why the diamond would have been left in place.

hello
thanks for repsonses
is there an option that they were erased?due to the blade condition is it real?
