Walther Olympia Pistol- 1944 Deutsche Jugendmeisterschaft

Another friend acquired this stunning example of the Walther Olympia "Schnellfeuer" model with dedication inscription from the Wather factory. This presentation inscription ties in with my questions on other forums on this site about the Jugendmeisterschaft. The inscription indicates it was presented to celebrate the recipient's victory in the 1944 Deutsche Jugendmeisterschaft. In another posts of mine , I wrote that published explanations of an Honor Nadel to winners state the award was created in 1942 by RJF Axmann to celebrate winners of the year-long contests. But on other forum on this site, other pins were shown indicating earlier Jugendmeisterschaft contests. Is there any documentation as to the creation and information about these events?

I was fortunate to ask a German collector friend about the Deutsches Jugendmeisterschaft events and learned he had two award documents and pins for the 1943 and 1944 contests. The 1944 event was held in Prag in late March or early April as the award document he had for weightlifting was dated April 1, 1944. I would presume Walther prepared this pistol for the victor of the KK Pistolenschiessen event, as they prepared similar awards for shooting events of other NSDAP formations like the SA.
