What does this number mean on my 30 ft. Hitlers youth banner?? Need help!

I have a sewn number on this 30 foot long hitlers youth banner. Tell me about it please. I attached 2 photos.

I think the letters do mean RJF (Reichsjugendführung), but it would
not make any sense to add a patch.

Why the quite irregular number? It looks like some "homework"!

Maybe an inventory number (Inventarnummer).

I'm suspicious as the letter font is the same as that used on the RFS chest badge. I mean, it could be period-applied but why not just use simple embroidery if the aim is purely to indicate the owner? Seems unnecessary to me to go that extra step when noone would be able to see it when the banner is in use.

Yes, "RJF" is the abbreviation of Reichsjugendführung but would they have used the same font that was used on the RFS chest badge? I don't know but as I say, it seems odd.
