Has somebody more information, documents, about the Kriegseinsatzstab Germanische Jugend, with an office in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Kaiserdamm 45/46. This Kriegseinsatzstab consisted of Flemish (Sonderstab Flandern) and Dutch (Sonderstab Niederlande) youth-representatives.

This is quite an interesting letter, send by the 'Gewestleider van gewest Noord- en Oost-Duitschland" of the Jeugdstorm: Evert Cornelis Esseling. A call for service in the Waffen SS in the Jeugdstorm-Bataillon.

Kind regards, Tom

I haven't found any information yet, even though I've searched extensively online.

I have this arm band, but I'm not sure if it's directly related to the topic .

Great items bertl59!

I have the "Germanische Jugend" cuff title too and a photo of that cuff title being worn by a dutch Jeugdstorm leader (Esseling). After "Dolle Dinsdag," the Jeugdstorm members who fled to Germany became "Gastmitglied" der Hitlerjugend.
I have some information from the dutch niod, I'll add a scan of a most certainly interesting document! It's in dutch so here's the translation:

" The headquarters company of the Hitler Youth Division was located in December in Nienburg/Weser. At the beginning of December, approximately ten Dutch Jeugdstorm cadre members arrived there in uniform, with swastika armband and HJ cap, who had to report to this headquarters company, including Esseling, Zandleven, Jeswiet. Several others were in the uniform of the Dutch Labour Service.

That evening Esseling visited me and told me that they had been received by the commander, who had thanked them for the fact that the Dutch youth leaders were now also committing themselves as soldiers within the Hitler Youth Division. After two weeks of basic training and a four-week training course to become Unterführer, they would receive several weeks of frontline deployment, after which they would be appointed as instructors with the Jeugdstorm kompanie. These Jeugdstorm cadre members were still wearing the Jeugdstorm insignia, the NSB insignia, and the pin of honor. (eeredraagteeken, for the Jeugdstorm members who were already member of the Jeugdstorm before the war)

Esseling told me that he himself and his colleagues still fully regarded themselves as Jeugdstorm members and likewise as members of the NSB. He considered the attitude of the Head Storm Leader to be incorrect and believed that the Jeugdstorm had fulfilled its function and now, as part of the Germanische Jugend, had to merge into the HJ.

He instructed me to order Germanische Jugend armbands from the Reichsjugendführung and also told me that the magazine “Dienst” would resume publication and be issued in Berlin. “De Stormvlag” would be sent to the members of the Jeugdstorm, as well as a magazine of the Germanische Jugend in the German language, in which a section for the Jeugdstorm was made available.

Assen, 31 December 1944 de Vries, Kompaan"

This will hopefully explain a lot Bert!
