I have just come across this drum banner, ive never seen anything like it. Assuming it would be tied round the drum? Does anyone have anymore infomation to share?

Interesting piece and it could have been used for all sorts of things. Weren't the banners for the drum made of multiple pieces?

Wow ..Interesting pic Bert I have never seen the trumpet banner with a diagonal white center.

You can clearly see it on some trumpets in the first row on the right and the second row center.

Most kettle drum banners that I have seen have round bottoms so I'm thinking they could be trumpet or a podium banner
