NEW BOOK RELEASE: Volume 10 of the “Headgear of Hitler’s Germany” Series

just a note. There will be a delay in finishing volume 11 (and 12 an so on).
The reason is that I am ending my collections (kimono's/sake-cups) and
simultaneously discontinue/closing my archive, due to health and a planned
move to a smaller appartment.
Book-plans however will continue! Volume 11 is still sceduled for fall 2026.

I hope everything goes according to plan. Moving is never easy, especially when you've lived in the same place for a long time and accumulated lots of things and memories.

I do live in my home-town for nearly 84 years.
As I probably will move to an appartment for seniors, I cannot take my collections and archive with me.
My kimono collection (50 of them) is or will go for free, as is my chop-stick-collection. Four wedding
kimono I will take with me as I do with the old chopsticks (150 years or more). I must remember some
of the "old" days. My archive is partly spreaded (for free) to friends, but it will be broken up. A pity as
with this an era of 55 years of research ends for me.
But as mentioned planned books will be finished as far as this is possible too me!!
